Funeral services for Lewis J. Jantz, 66, route three, Carnegie, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at the Greenfield Mennonite church. Jantz died Wednesday at his home. Interment was in the Greenfield cemetery.
Jantz was born December 10, 1905 in Caddo county and had resided in this area all his life. He was married to the former Lela Arndt January 13, 1930, at Apache. He was a member of the Greenfield Mennonite church.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, Jimmy of Santa Maria, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Clyde Ray, Lawton; one brother, Dan, of Bethany; five sisters, Mrs. Philbena Jantz of Inola, Mrs. Aura Fogelstrom of Cashmere, Wash., Mrs. Kate Unruh of Meno, and Mrs. Lena Harrell and Mrs. Mary Schmidt of Carnegie; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
