Our loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend, James Lamont Holfeltz, age 89, worthily fulfilled his earthly mission on February 2, 1995.

He was born to James T. and Emma May Henry Holfeltz on May 15, 1905. He married Norma Thurber on June 25, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death.Lamont was a graduate of Brigham Young University and was employed by Utah Power & Light as an electrical engineer. As a faithful member of the LDS Church, he served in many positions including a stake mission in the Parley's Stake as well as being a temple worker with his wife in the Salt Lake Temple.

Survived by a son, Howard D. and his wife, Fran T. Holfeltz, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family express deep gratitude to loving care givers, Nanette Barker, Julia Barker, Brenda Hoopes, Kandi Mosley and Charlie Gregor and staff of FHP Home Health.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 6th, at 12 noon, Parley's 2nd Ward Chapel, 1870 East Parley's Canyon Blvd. (2300 South). Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sunday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the ward on Monday, 11 -11:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
