Julia Elizabeth White, 89, died Friday, January 28, 2000, at Blue Valley Nursing Home, Blue Rapids, KS.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the United Presbyterian Church, Blue Rapids. The Rev. Marilyn Wullschleger officiated.
Luree Gallup was organist and Lynette Pralle sang "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Amazing Grace."
"Love Can Build a Bridge," a taped song, was sung by Heather Harris.
Pallbearers were Donovan Finn, Mark Buchmeier, Mike White, Dave White, Todd White and Ralph Corona.
Honorary pallbearers were Sondra Buchmeier, Kathy Harris, Kathy Corona, Arlen Harris, Linda Finn, Carol White, Leanna White and Coleen White.
Burial was in Fairmont Cemetery, Blue Rapids.

She was born February 1, 1910, in Holton, to Frank Walter and Annie Elizabeth (McCauley) Heath. She had 10 brothers and sisters who called her Libby. She grew up on a farm south of Vermillion and attended Circleville schools.
She married Clarence William White May 19, 1927, at her parents' home in rural Vermillion.
She and her husband lived in the Bigelow community where they farmed.
They moved to Irving and lived there until Tuttle Creek dam construction forced them to leave their home.
They moved to Blue Rapids, where she continued to live. She moved to the Blue Valley Nursing Home in July 1987.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Blue Rapids.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; two sisters, Mayme Belle Hope and Irene Cobb, and five brothers, Charley, Gene, George, Ben and Laurel Heath.
Survisors are two sons, Clarence F. "Bud" White, Scandia and Harold Max Hope of California; one daughter, Audrey E. Boyd, Blue Rapids; one brother, Algern Heath, Marysville, two sisters, Maxine Anderson, Waterville, and Annie Manges, Linn; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
