L.E."Murphy" Heath, Frankfort, 81, died Wednesday, December 25, 1996, at the Westmoreland Nursing Home.

Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 28, from the Padden Funeral Chapel, Fankfort . The Rev. Susan Montgomery officiated.

Burial was in the Vermillion Cemetery with arrangements by Padden Funeral Chapel.

Steve Gleason, accompanied by Eunice Samuelson, sang "In the Garden" and "How Great Thou Art."

Pallbearers were Lloyd, Raymond and Paul Heath, Bud White, Ralph Anderson and Frank Manges.

He was born July 15, 1915, at Vermillion the son of Frank W. and Annie E. (McCauley) Heath.

He was a farmer-stockman south of Frankfort, and also worked at the Farmers Co-op.

Preceding him in death were sisters, Irene Cobb and Maybelle Hope; and brothers, Charles, George and Gene Heath.

Survivors are his sisters, Elizabeth White, Blue Rapids, Maxine Anderson, Waterville, and Annie Manges, Clay Center, and two brothers, Algern Heath, Marysville, and Ben Heath, Kimball, South Dakota.
