Annie G. Manges, 86, Westmoreland died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, in the Westmoreland Care Home. Her body was donated to Kansas University Medical Center.
A service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort. Burial was in Barrett Cemetery, southwest of Frankfort.
Annie Manges was born Aug. 27, 1919, at a farm near Vermillion, the daughter of Frank and Annie E. (McCauley) Heath. She attended Vermillion schools.
She married David Manges March 19, 1938, at Seneca. They farmed in the Westmoreland community. She worked as a cook for the Westmoreland school district, in the maintenance department at Kansas State University and retired in 1984.
Survivors include four sons, Lloyd Manges, San Antonio, Floyd Manges, Westmoreland, Bill Manges, Manhattan, and Frank, Westmoreland; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David; four sisters; and six brothers.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Westmoreland or Frankfort care homes.
