Ms. Dorothy Maddox Fronek, 83, of 3740 Belair Road, wife of the late V. John Fronek, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Benjamin Golisch officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park. Ms. Fronek, a lifelong resident of Augusta, had retired as a billing supervisor with John P. King Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John R. "Jimmy" Fronek and Carol Flanders Fronek of Augusta; two brothers, Jessie C. Maddox and Clifford S. Maddox, both of Augusta; three sisters, A. Thelma Brown, Grovetown, Mary B. Lawton, Riverview, Fla., and Sarah F. Rainwater, Atlanta; one grandson, J. Richard Fronek; and one granddaughter, Lisa Nicole Fronek, both of Augusta. Pallbearers will be Hildyer Brown, Harvey Brown, Bob Foley, Richard Foley, Calvin Maddox, Ronnie Maddox, Larry Maddox, John W. Maddox, Aries Maddox and Tommy Lawton.Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Building Fund, 3703 Old Petersburg Road, Martinez. GA 30907.
