Mrs. Fannie Pearre Maddox, 76, wife of the late John H. Maddox, entered into rest at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. V.J. Fronek, Belair Road, Saturday, July 11, 1964 at 12:30 a.m. Funeral services for will be held at the Marks Baptist Church at 4 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Albert M. Stroup officiating, assisted by the Rev. William T. Watts. Burial will be in the Pierce Chapel Cemetery. She was a life-long resident of Richmond County and was a member of the Wrightsboro Rd. Christian Church. She is survived by three sons, J. Willard Maddox, Jesse Maddox, and Clifford S. Maddox, all of Augusta; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma M. Brown of Augusta, Mrs. Reginald Lawton of Willington, S. C., Mrs. V. John Fronek of Augusta, and Mrs. Charles H. Foley of East Point, Ga.; three brothers, Benjamin B. Pearre Jr., of Jacksonville, Fla., Walter I. Pearre of Augusta, and Humphrey O. Pearre of Columbia, S. C.; a sister. Mrs. Grace Arnold of Augusta; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
