Alexander "Sandy" David was the son of Alexander McDaniel and Sarah (Unknown) McDaniel.

Sandy first married Martha Stubbs in 1825 in the state of Mississippi. They had nine children.

1--James "Jim" S. [1825-1884]
2--Elizabeth "Betsy" [1827-1916]
3--Sarah Jane "Sissy" [1829-1869]
4--Alexander "Alex" [1832-1909]
5--Trusey "Truss" H. [1835-1863]
6--Mary Ann [1837-????]
7--Thomas Harrison [1839-1926]
8--Evander "E.V." [1841-1929]
9--William "Bill" Andrew [1844-1908]

Martha died in 1845 in Mississippi. Sandy then married Sarah Stubbs. It is not known the relationship between Martha and Sarah, if any. They could be sisters or cousins. A mystery that will probably never be known.

Sandy and Sarah had two children.

1--Peter Lafeyett "Doc" [1846-1929]
2-- Lucy Jane [1848-1905]

Sandy died sometime after 1860 in Robertson County, Texas. It is not known where Sandy is buried, but I am showing both, him and Sarah in a Memorial only at the same cemetery his two sons, James "Jim" and Trusey "Truss" are buried. Sandy, Sarah, James and Trusey are all in unmarked graves.

I have never been able to find a picture of Sandy. If someone has a picture of him, please add it to his Memorial.

Sandy was my great-great-grandfather.
