OBITUARY

Edward O'Neal Baggett, a member of Mineola Baptist Church, died Saturday at a family home. He was 70.

Baggett was a native of Monroe County and a resident of Uriah.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Baggett of Uriah; one son, Eddie Baggett of Mineola; two daughters, Melody Simpson and Jennie Laurie, both of Uriah; four brothers, James Baggett, Barnie Baggett, both of Mineola, Jessie Baggett of Uriah and Joe Baggett of Jackson, Ala.; two sisters, Annie Turberville of Uriah and Willie Stacey of Mineola; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral at Mineola Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mineola Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are being made by Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville.
