November 1, 1934 - April 14, 2022

Mr. Orian James Baggett, age 87, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at his home in Mineola, Ala.

Mr. Baggett was born in Monroe County where he remained a lifelong resident. He was a retired boat cook for International Paper Company and a member of Mineola Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lonnie Baggett and Nellie Jane Turberville Baggett; a son, Orian Chris Baggett; and ten siblings.

Survivors include: his wife, Maxine Baggett of Mineola; three sons, Alex (Jessica) Baggett, Brandon (Rikki) Baggett and Christopher Baggett, all of Mineola; his daughter, Kytina Baggett (Stevie) Hall of Mineola; two brothers, Barney Baggett of Mineola and Joe Mason Baggett of Jackson; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 18, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Mineola Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Kirchharr and Rev. Jessie Bohannon officiating. Burial will follow at Mineola Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, one hour prior to service time at Mineola Baptist Church.

The family will accept flowers or contributions can be made to your charity of choice.
