ERNEST RAY PERRY, 70, of Summerville, South Carolina died Nov. 18, 1993, at home.
He was a veteran and retired from the Navy with 20 years'
service. He was retired from Charleston (S.C.) Naval Shipyard as a supervisor in Shop 99. He was born in Cannelton, W.Va., and was a member of the Fleet Reserve and Old Fort Baptist Church.
Surviving: wife, Erna Dean Perry; sons, Roger G. of Ridgeville, Larry D. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Garry D. of Summerville; daughter, Vivian S. Fugitt of Warren, Ohio; brother, Hurndin of Buffalo, W.Va.; sisters, Minnie Estep and Edith Tucker, both of Cannelton, Mary Hornsby of Smithers, W.Va., Evelyn Tucker of Hugheston, W.Va., Mable Walker of Longacre, W.Va., Delores Fleming of Walnut Creek, Calif.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at James A. Dyal Funeral Home,
Summerville. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens,
Charleston, with full military rites. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
