FRIENDSVILLE – N. Ernest Selby, 77, of here, died yesterday at West Virginia University Medical Center, Morgantown.
Born at Selbysport, he was a son of the late N. R. and Lucretia (Collins) Selby. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth (Humberson) Selby; seven sons, Ross, Lawrence, and Richard Selby, all of here; Fred, Claude and Robert Selby, all of Baltimore; Glenn Selby, Omaha, Neb.; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Lefferts, Rosella, N. J.; Mrs. Fern Lininger and Mrs. Dorothy Friend, both of here; three sisters, Mrs. Lettie King, Baltimore; Mrs. Maru Itturalde, Williamsburg, Va.; and Mrs. Teresa Murphy, of here; 28 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Newman Funeral Home here where friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
Service will be conducted there tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. William Carlson. Burial will be in Humberson Cemetery.
