Mrs. Ellen Honea, wife of Shell Honea, died about one o'clock Friday morning, at her home here, after a brief illness. Her husband, a number of married children, and many other relatives mourn her going for whom the entire neighborhood joins in deep sympathy. She was an honored member of the Stoutland Methodist church, where her funeral was conducted, Monday afternoon, by her pastor, Rev J. L. Scott. It was largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends. All her children attended the funeral, except one son, and one daughter who live in California. Burial in the Honea Cemetary, east of Stoutland.
