Mrs. Missouri (Zura) J. Pryer, 84, of, Kansas City, KS, died yesterday at the home of a son, Freeman L. Pryer, Independence. She was born in Stoutland, MO and had lived here 42 years. She was a member of the Stoutland Methodist church. She also leaves another son, Robert L. Pryer of the home, two brothers, Clyde Honea and John W. Honea, Lebanon, MO; three sisters Mrs. Josie Hugley, Los Angeles, Ca, Mrs. Jessie Hurt, Nowata, OK, and Mrs. Jewel Mosier, Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jim Pryer, Bobbie L. Hurt, Richard Schnyder, Harry B. Hicks and Raymond Findley. (printed in the KC Star Apr 28, 1969.)
