Clyde H. Honea, 73, of 6215 E. 35th, died Tuesday at the home. He was born in Stoutland, Mo., and had lived here 51 years. He was a retired yard foreman for Koppers Company, Inc. Mr. Honea was a member of Leeds Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Elvira Honea of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Hicks, 3543 Beacon; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Hurt, Stoutland, and Mrs. Jewel Mosier, Indianapolis; two grandsons and a great-grandson. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Earp Truman Road Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the chapel. - Kansas City Times, Thurs. Jan. 10, 1974
