"HUTTON-Mrs. Elizabeth Hutton, 74 died early Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lamar, 715 South Florence avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the Tulsa Undertaking company chapel. Rev. J. A. Hudson officiating. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Leona Walker, Joplin, Mo.; Mrs. Anna Blatnor, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Thelma Lamar, Tulsa; two sons, J. Melbourne and Stoner E. both of Tulsa. Interment will be in Memorial Park by the Tulsa Undertaking company."
Sara Elizabeth Wood Hutton's mother is unknown. Her father John H. Wood is living with his father in Tennessee in the 1850 census and is listed in the 1860 census with only Sarah in Camden County, MO. John H. Wood's 2nd wife, Amanda is in the 1860 census in Camden County, MO living with her parents. It is believed that Sara Elizabeth's mother and father were married after 1850. After giving birth to 3 children Sarah, Mary and Rufus, she died. John H. Wood moved to Camden County, MO and subsequently married Amanda Hillhouse after 1860.
