Lella E. (Bellows) Dostie, 85, of 88 Main St., and formerly of Shelburne Falls, died Wednesday at Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. She was a retired employee of the former Worthington Pump Co. in Holyoke. Born in Northfield, she was a graduate of Arms Academy in Shelburne Falls. She moved to Shelburne Falls in 1980, and here in 1987.

Her husband, Henry J. Dostie, died in 1980. She leaves a brother, William B. of Charlemont; three sisters, Beatrice Rose of South Deerfield, Ellen D. Smith of Greenfield, and Helen Metzker of Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, and a friend, Louis Johnson, with whom she lived.

The funeral will be this morning at Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home of Shelburne Falls, with the burial in East Buckland Cemetery. There are no calling hours, and memorial contributions may be made to the Poet's Seat Nursing Home activities fund at 359 High St., Greenfield, 01301.
