Cecil G. Bellows, 68, of Mohawk Trail, a 46-year employee of the Hall Tavern Farm, died Wednesday in the Franklin Medical Center, Greenfield.

A lifelong resident of Charlemont, he was a trustee of the Little Red Schoolhouse and president of the East Buckland Cemetery Association.

He was a member of the National Wildlife Federation, the National Audubon Society, the Massachusetts Trappers Association, the Conway and Charlemont sportsmen's clubs, and the Buckland Grange.

He leaves his wife, the former Jessie B. Ferron; three sons, Robert of Greenfield, Cecil Jr. of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., and Charles of Charlemont; three daughters, Penny Graves of Buckland, Ruth Bellows of Leyden and Nancy Latour of Charlemont; two brothers, William and Ed, both of Buckland; five sisters, Beatrice Rose of South Deerfield, Ellen Smith of Greenfield, Lella Dostie of Northfield, Ruth Dustin of Springvale, Maine, and Helen Metzker of Tennessee, and 13 grandchildren.

The funeral will be tomorrow in Charlemont Federated Church, with burial in East Buckland Cemetery, Buckland. Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home is in charge.
