Lottie Mae Bell DuPree was the daughter of Jahu K. and Mary Alice Conaway Bell. Her parents are buried in Bell Cemetery. Lottie shares a stone with her husband, Pascal Green "Pack" DuPree. After her husband died in 1970, Lottie moved to Fort Worth, Texas. She was survived by one son, Bobby Gene DuPree of Fort Worth; one daughter, Joy Funderburk of Fort Worth; brother, Marshall Bell of Malakoff, Texas; sisters, Katie Bell Bacon, Lula Bell Zoeller, and Florence Bell Eilenberger, all of Palestine and Mary Ann Bell Horton of Portland, Texas; daughters-in-law, Mrs. Bill DuPree of Wimberly, Texas, Mrs. J. W. DuPree, and Mrs. Connie (Orline) DuPree, both of Palestine. Her obituary appeared in the Palestine Herald-Press, Wednesday, 12 January 1977.
