She was born August 16, 1892 on the farm southeast of Burlington, the daughter of Harvey and Sarah Elizabeth Slane Shannon.
Miss Shannon did housework. She had lived in Burlington since 1947 when she moved from a farm northwest of LeRoy.
She was a member of the Burlington Christian Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Flora Decker, Burlington; a brother, Tom Shannon, Parsons.
Services were at 1 p.m. Sunday at Jones Funeral Home, Burlington. Burial was at LeRoy Cemetery.
