R.D. "Mutt" Batchelor was born on March 12th, 1926 to Richard Emmit Batchelor and Rosie Viola Bishop.

Mutt married Belfay Pauline "Bobo" Martin and to that union was born Dorothy Jo Batchelor in 1945.

He had five brothers and six sisters; Emmett Lee, Everett L. "Ebb" Batchelor, Irene Agusta, Maggie Arizona, Dessie Lorene, Cleo Marie (who married John "Papa John" McCullar, Rosie Viola, RV Batchelor, Wanda "Ray" Ray, Della Fay, Delbert Savoyee (who was born May 9, 1918 and died Dec. 19, 1918).

He passed away on August 13th, 1967.
