Daisy Rogers Peters, 87, a native of Lauderdale County, passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 1010, at her residence. She was a member of New Hope Church of Christ.
The funeral was Friday, Nov. 26, at Greenview Funeral Home, with the funeral following at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel, with Carl Seigenthaleer officiating. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Peters was preceded in death by her husband, glenn Lambert Peters, and parents, Robert and Etta Parrish Rogers.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Erick Peters, of Florence, Joseph A. Peters, of Michie, Tenn., Fritz Peyters, of Athens; daughater, Martha Sue Hurley and husband, James, of Muscle Shoals; brother, Burlon Rogers, of Florence; sisters, Annie clift, of Culeoka, Tenn., Vernette Arnold, of Florence, Toye Murphy, of Bradenburg, Ky., Ruby Johnson, of florence; nine grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.
The elders and deacons of New Hope Church of Christ served as pallbearers.
