But wait there is also a marriage record in Madison County, Ala for Edna W Romine and Roy R Romine, #9547 the date of marriage is June 23, 1951. so was the divorce before the marriage or after... the marriage had to be their second as it didn't say Edna Weir, it said Edna W Romine! So did they divorce and re-marry each other in the same month and year?
Roy Roland Romine died on March 11, 1965 at the age of 55. On the Alabama Death and Burial records it has his spouse listed as Edna E Romine, she died on July 7, 1993, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at the age of 82, and was buried in Athens, Alabama beside husband Roy.
