Mrs. Mabel E. Hoke Birch, Jonestown RD 2, died Friday evening at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was 60. She worshipped at the Bunker Hill Evangelical Congregational Church. Surviving are her husband, John Birch; four daughters, Dorothy M., wife of Clifford Bates, Edith, wife of Paul Hummel and Anna, wife of Franklin Krall, all of Jonestown RD 2; Patricia, wife of W. James Bernheisel, Lebanon RD 3; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Paul, Jonestown RD 1; Joseph Hoke, Lebanon RD 5; Ammon Hoke, Jonestown RD 2; Anna, wife of John Mountz, and Cora, wife of Paul Brightbill, both of Lebanon RD 5; Elva, wife of Leonard Light, Harrisburg and Edith, wife of Paul Rhode, Lebanon.
