Edith J. Rhode, 102, Lebanon, passed away on Friday November 12, 2021 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Ralph N. Rhode. Edith was born in Lebanon on May 24, 1919, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Hoke. She was a member of Rocherty U.M. Church and had been a volunteer at the retired steelworker's hall as well as a member of the Edelweiss Women's Club and the Lebanon County Flowers Club for many years.
She is survived by her son: Ralph B. Rhode and wife Marva; granddaughters: Michelle R. wife of Terry L. Sweitzer, Jr. and Angela M. wife of Clayton Pankewicz; great-grandchildren: Benjamin Tyler Allen and Colton Lane Allen. She was preceded in death by brothers: Paul, Joseph, Ralph and Ammon Hoke and sisters: Elva Light, Anna Mountz, Mabel Birch and Cora Brightbill.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00pm in the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a viewing will be held from 12:00pm to the time of service. Interment will be made in Gingrich Mennonite Cemetery.
