Delbert H. Holtzhauer, 74, of Alberta Road, Lower Burrell, died Monday in Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, from injuries received in a tractor accident at his home. An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Holtzhauer retired in 1966 having been a self employed contractor and bricklayer. He was a member of Bethel Lodge at Lower Burrell, Free and Accepted Masons, Coudersport Consistory, Edward R. Sterling American Legion Post, Bricklayers Union and Pittsburgh Shriners. Born Jan. 5, 1897 in Kittanning, he was a son of Charles and Cora Jane (Lasher) Holtzhauer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Loela (Davies) Holtzhauer; a daughter, Mrs. Nathan F. (Alberta) Kerr of Allison Park; a" brother, William N. Holtzhauer of Kittanning; two grandchilden, HOLTZHAUER — Friends of Delbert H. Holtzhauer, who died Aug. 30, 1971, will be received at the Richard G. Churchfield Funeral Home, 501 5th Ave., New Kensington. Visitation hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Bruno E. Puescnel, pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ at New Kensington. Burial will be In Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. Bethel Lodge Memorial Service at 8 p.m. tonight at funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions presented to Allegheny Council of Mental Health or Heart Association of Westmoreland County. Arrangements by Churchfield.
