Fred J. Holmes, 65, 4828 E. Grant Rd., died Thursday at the Tucson Medical Center. He came to Tucson six years ago from Detroit, Mich. He was a retired architect superintendent from General Motors. He is survived by his widow, Florence; two sons, C. Ernest of Detroit, and Durwood, with the Air Force in Iceland; one step-son. Frederick Buckman of Detroit; two brothers, Delbert of Pennsylvania, and Bill of Kittanning, Pa.; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced by Adair Funeral Home.
