Mary Elizabeth McGaughey, 68, of Kittanning, died this morning at 6:45 a.m., at Fair's Rest Home, Applewold. She was born July 30, 1901 in Kittanning, the daughter of Charles Ernest and Cora Jean (Lasher) Holtzhauer. Mrs. McGaughey was a lifelong resident of the Kittanning area and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Kittanning. Surviving are two brothers, Delbert H. Holtzhauer of New Kensington and William N. Holtzhauer of Kittanning. Her husband, George McGaughey, and a brother, Fred Holmes, Preceded her in death. McGAUGHEY — Friends of Mary Elizabeth McGaughey of Kittanning, who died April 6, 1970, may call from 7-9 p.m. this evening and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tuesday at the Amberson C. Bauer Funeral Home, Kittanning, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday (April 8). Officiating will be the Rev. Chris Petrak, assistant, pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church, Kittanning. Interment will be in the Kittanning Cemetery. Arrangements by Bauer.
