DIES FOLLOWING FALL SUSTAINED IN OCTOBER
As the result of a fall which she ha (sic) dsustained (sic) sometime in October, Mrs. Eliza Gutshall, widow of the late Jacob Gutshall, a former resident of this place died at the home of her son-in-law, George Swigert, of North Bedford street (sic), this morning at 8:15 o'clock. She had reached the advanced age of 88 years.
She was a long time resident of this place, her husband having died here over 20 years ago. She was a member of the Reformed Church at Carlisle Springs.
The following children survive: Professor W.W. Gutshall, F.A. Gutshall and Alfred Gutshall, of Carlisle Springs; Mrs. Emma Myers of Carlisle Springs; Mrs. Mary Lutz, of Boiling Springs; Mrs. B.W. Hosler, and Mrs. George Swigert, of Carlisle and Mrs. W.H. Jacobs, of Harrisburg.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Mrs. Eliza Gutshall died this morning at 7 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Swigert, of North Bedford street (sic), aged 88 years. Death was due to infirmities of age. Mrs. Gutshall was a faithful member of the Reformed church of Carlisle Springs for many years and formerly resided in that place. She is survived by five daughters and three sons: Mrs. Emma Myers, of Carlisle Springs; Mrs. Mary Lutz, Boiling Springs; Mrs. B.W. Hosler and George Swigert, of Carlisle, and Mrs. W.H. Jacobs, Harrisburg; Prof. W.W. Gutshall and Alfred Gutshall, of Carlisle Springs, and Henry Guttshall (sic) of Idaho. She is also survived by three brothers and one sister.
