Mrs. Sarah A. Epply (sic), wife of Mr. George Epply (sic) died at the residence of her husband in South Middleton township on Friday evening, July 17. The cause of her death was typhoid fever. She was sick only eight days. Mrs. Epply (sic) was a kind hearted and christian mother and leaves a husband, four daughters and three sons to mourn her sad departure. The funeral took place on Monday forenoon. The remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of relatives and friends. Interment at Carlisle, in Ashland Cemetery. She was aged 69 years, 6 months and 26 days.
