Services Tuesday For Lizzie Akers, 71
Mrs. Lizzie M. Akers, 71, Sullivan R 5, died at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes.
She is survived by the husband, Lex; three daughters, Miss Mary Akers, at home, Mrs. Dorothy Wall and Mrs. Mildred Walters, both of Sullivan; four sons, Roy of Sullivan, Walter and Clarence, both of Gary, and Lex, Shelburn; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Moody, Sullivan; 31 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Alexander Funeral Home, with the Rev. Willis Ross officiating. Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery.
