Miss Clara Adams Rite To Be At Galena Today

Galena, Kan., April 9---Miss Clara Pearl Adams, 40 years old, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Adams, south of Galena on route 2. She had been in ill health for some time.

Surviving, besides the parents, are five sisters, Mrs. Ray Harris of Seneca, Mrs. Hammie Elliott of Baxter Springs, Mrs. Leon Walkenshaw of Galena, Mrs. Bill Pigg of Galena and Miss Alice Adams of the home, and seven brothers, Fred Adams, Walter Adams and Floyd Adams of Galena, Lee Adams, of the home, and Alfred Adams, Raymond Adams and Harold Adams, all in the armed forces overseas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Allison funeral home, with the Allison funeral home, with the Rev. Mr. Harvey of Baxter Springs in charge.

Burial will be in Pence cemetery, south of Galena.
