Mabel Nona Elliot, 94, passed from this life on Friday, Sept. 20, 2002 at Quaker Manor Nursing Home in Lowell, Kan.
Mrs. Elliot was born Nov. 7, 1907 in Lowell, Kan. the daughter of Winnie and Dovie (Toller (sic) Toler) Adams.
She had lived in this area all her life.
Benjamin H. Elliott and Mabel Nona Elliott were united in marriage on July 22, 1937 in Columbus, Kan. He preceded her in death on October 22,1972.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Keith Green of Webb City, Mo.; sons and daughter-in-laws, Dale Elliott, and Gary (Buster) and Linda Elliott all of Baxter Springs; son-in-law Jim Livingston of Baxter Springs; brother Lee Adams of Galena, Kan.; sisters Ruby Ingersoll and Sylvia Walton both of Galena, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter Mary (Elliott) L. Livingston and daughter-in-law Barbara (Robinson) Elliott preceded Mrs. Elliott in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2002 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel, Baxter Springs, Kan. Rev. Eddie McAffee and Rev. Jeff Street will officiate. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening, September 22, 2002 at the chapel.
