Jessie M. Kelley, a Lewiston homemaker and food processing plant worker, died of causes related to age Wednesday. She was 88.
A native of Morrowtown, Idaho, she was born Jan. 22, 1904, to Samuel and Melinda Thornton Crawford. She was raised at Craigmont, where she graduated from high school in 1924.
She married Clarence Kelley Oct. 7, 1924, at Spokane.
She was baptized into the Christian church in 1921. She enjoyed walking and flower gardening.
Survivors include a son, a daughter, a sister, Lillie Stephens of Lewiston; a brother, Samuel Ed Crawford of Lewiston, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Two sons, Marvin C. Kelley and Alfred M. Kelley, died previously.
