The marriage of Floyd DeWitt Vert and Miss Halley Pearl Crawford, of this place was solemnized by Probate Judge H. W. Niles at his office in Nezperce on Wednesday, the 20th. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Crawford, pioneers of this community, and is one of Craigmont's most highly esteemed young ladies. the young people are leaving to make their home in the San Joaquin Valley, California.

Mrs. Hallie Pearl Vert, a well known young lady in this section, passed away last Tuesday, October 6, 1925, at the home of her parents, death resulting from complications. (Her son, Floyd Thomas Vert, was born October 4, 1925)

Mrs. Vert was born January 21, 1906 near Craigmont where she spent most of her life. She received her schooling in Craigmont where she made a host of friends among the younger people for all who knew her liked her.

She is survived by her husband and baby, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Sam Crawford, three brothers, and three sisters, also many relatives and friends.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. Reynolds yesterday afternoon at the Christian Church after which she was buried in IOOF cemetery. The funeral was attended by the largest number ever attending a funeral in Craigmont, attesting the high esteem she was held by the people of this community.
