Pneumonia which developed following a stroke suffered last Thursday caused the death of Henry W. Thomas, seventy-one, of Millville, at the Danville State Hospital yesterday morning at 11:55 o'clock. He had been in ill health for the past three years.
Mr. Thomas was a farmer in Mount Pleasant township for thirty years and retired thirteen years ago. Since his retirement he has lived in Millville.
Surviving are his wife, and the following brothers and sisters: Lloyd J. of Jersey Shore; Edward A., of Catawissa R.D.; H. Lester, of Bloomsburg R.D. 1; Charles E., of Danville R.D. 3; Sarah, of Harrisburg; Mrs. Hannah Gilbert, of Bloomsburg R.D.1; Mrs. Anna Wilson, ob Bloomsburg R.D.1; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the Baker funeral home Thursday afternoon at one o'clock and will be continued at New Columbia, with the Rev. D.L. Bomboy officiating. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
