Edward A Thomas, 75, died yesterday at 6:15 a.m. at his home on Catawissa RD 1. He had been in ill health five years and bedfast one week.
Born in Mt. Pleasant Township, Mr. Thomas had resided since 1906 on Catawissa RD. He was a member of the Mainville Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Mrs. Ruth A. Morgan, Mrs. Charles Chamberlain, Mrs. John Mictchell, of Bloomsburg; Mark E Thomas, of Catawissa RD 1; brothers and sisters, Miss Sara Thomas, of Bloomsburg R.D 2; Mrs. Anna Wilson, Mrs. Hannah Bilbert, Lester Thomas, of Bloomsburg RD and Charles Thomas, of Jerseytown. There are 11 grandchildren and one great grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Baker Funeral Home, Bloomsburg, with the Rev. D.L. Bomboy officiating. Interment will be in New Columbia cemetery.
