Charles Matthew Arnwine, 73, a resident of Danville R.D 4, died at the Geisinger Medical Center Tuesday after an illness of the past four years.
Arnwine was born in West Hemlock township, August 31, 1892. He was a retired carpenter for the past eight years. He was a member of the New Columbia Presbyterian Church, Columbia Hill, and a member of the Danville Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are his wife, Edna; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Beatrice) Jenkins, Danville R.D.4; Mrs. Paul (Arlene) Truskey, Catawissa; Mrs. Charles (Vera) Hinkel, Bloomsburg R.D.4; two sons, Allen, of Bristol and Harold , of Bloomsburg R.D. 1; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one sister, Dora Arnwine of Bloomsburg; one brother, John Arnwine, of Danville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, from the Columbia Hill Presbyterian Church, under the direction of the Thad S. Vincent Funeral home, with the Rev. Andrew J. Huddock, Bloomsburg, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Columbia Hill cemetery.
