Born to parents Sylvester Wesley Arnwine and Effie Jane Still he married Dora Elizabeth Catherine Brittain and had at least one child Charles Matthew. From the Press Enterprise Obit: Charles Arnwine, almost a lifelong resident of West Hemlock township, Montour county, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bessie Mendenhall, of College Hill, at 3:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon. He was aged 68 years on November 9th and had been ill only since Sunday. He was a member of the New Columbia Presbyterian Church. His wife passed away eight years ago. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Albert Blohn, Charles and John Arnwine, of West Hemlock township; Mrs. Bessie Mendenhall and Misses Mary and Dora Arnwine, of Bloomsburg. Also surviving are a brother, Frank, of West Hemlock township; two sisters, Mrs. George Barnhart, of Rush township, and Mrs. John Messersmith, of Pottsgrove, and six grandchildren. Brief funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Mendenhall on College Hill at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon and will be continued in the New Columbia cemetery at 2:30 o'clock, with Rev. R.D. Adams, pastor of the Grove Presbyterian Church, Danville, officiating. Burial will be made in the New Columbia cemetery.
