Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the chapel of Gallant Funeral Home for Brenda C. Poarch, who died Wednesday ( April 11, 1990) in Vanderbilt Hopsital. She was 41. The Rev. Sonny Moore officiated. Burial followed in the Shady Grove Cemetery. A native of Lincoln County, she was daughter of Elisha Eddy and Sue Stewart. She was a member of Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Charles Poarch of Fayetteville; three sons, David McCoy of Albertville, Ala., James McCoy and Melvin McCoy, both of Fayetteville, a daughter, Tammy Brown of Albertville, Ala.; two brothers, Ray Eddy and Phillip Eddy, both of Fayetteville; three sisters, Patsy Colbert and Wanda Thompson, both of Dalton, Ga., and Lana Kay Towry of Lewisburg, and two grandchildren.
