SUSIE M. COMBS EXPIRED TODAY
Mrs. Susie M. Combs, age 48, wife of Perry Combs, died at 1am today at her home, 1429 West Tenth Street. She had been in failing health for about a year. Mrs. Combs was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Minter B. Cookman, deceased, former well-known residents of this city, and she had lived in Anderson all her life.
Surviving are her husband, four step-daughters, Miss Catherine Combs, and Mrs. Margaret Foltz, of Anderson; Mrs. Laura Pennybacher, of Chicago, and Mrs. Lena Nash, of Dayton, and seven brothers, Frank, Cary, John, Clem, Hubert, Ray and Lester B. Cookman, all of Anderson.
The body was removed to the Albright Mortuary.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
