Johnnie Minor Sprouse, 68, of 1933 Ellington St., Richmond died Friday. He was a former employee of Liggett & Myers and Phillip Morris tobacco companies and was a member of Richmond East Lodge 1947, Loyal Order of Moose and the Bellwood Civic Center.

Surviving are his widow, Della M. Sprouse; four daughters, Mrs. William C. Shiflett, Mrs. Bradley L. Deane, Mrs. Calvin Deane and Barara J. Sprouse of Richmond: three sisters, Agnes Lipes of Charlottesville, Ruby Baldwin and Mrs. Earl Garrison of Richmond, Mrs. Jasper Davis of Free Union; two brothers, Ellis Sprouse of Charlottesville, Louis Sprouse of Richmond; and five grandchildren.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home, Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, Richmond. Burial will be at Dale Memorial Park.
