Edith M. Yerian, 68, died March 5, 1998, at Huston Nursing Home in Hamden, Ohio.
Born April 12, 1929, in Russell, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Maggie Douglas Hill.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Yerian of Jackson; sons, Raymond of South Carolina, James, Kenneth, Thomas, Jeffrey, Ronnie, Edward, John and Kevin all of Jackson; daughters, Betty Canter, Anita Yerian and Vicky Skaggs, all of Jackson; two brothers, Gary White of Colorado and Roger Williams of Jackson; 40 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours were set for Saturday, 6-9 p.m. at Mayhew Funeral Home, Jackson. Funeral services were set for Sunday, 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating and burial to be in Evergreen Cemetery, near Jackson.
Frank and Edith were parents of James "Crow" Yerian and 8 other children. Raymond went by the name of Raymond Hill.
Robert and Edith had Richard and Chris.
