09/07/2023 - information provided by Darrell Mounts 46934892 "Cora Jane Mounts was born 10 July 1868 and died 9 August 1868. I know that the DAR cemetery book shows 1869 and wife of Samuel Mounts. But this is an error. Samuel Anderson Mounts 11365578 was her grandfather. Her grandmother Jane Cain Mounts 84879671 is buried there as well. The card for Union Cemetery for Jane Cain Mounts shows her stone as Wife of Samuel and I believe that when they were listing it they listed Cora Jane as W/O Samuel instead of Jane. Cora was the Daughter of William Anderson Mounts, there are no records of Cora in a census or a marriage to Samuel, and no other Samuel is shown to have lived there. William's pension and family bible records show birth and death dates in Owen county as well as burial in New Union, and no other Cora Mounts is buried there. "
