SERA (State Emergency Relief Administration) WORKER DIES SUDDENLY
SANTA ROSA, Sept. 20.—Either the victim of a nine foot fall or a heart attack, Meredith Mounts, 55, of 441 Carrillo street, died yesterday afternoon at the high school football field. Mounts toppled to the ground from the top of the bleachers upon which he had been working and was apparently dead when other workman reached his body. The body has been removed to Welti Brothers funeral chapel where an autopsy be performed before the inquest to determine the exact cause of death. Mounts is survived by his widow, Grace Mounts and five children.
