William was the son of William Henry and Sarah Ann Schubert Keyser. They were from Lehigh and Berks counties in Pennsylvania. Will was born on July 11, 1876 in Springfield, Illinois. In 1907 he married Laura R. Ganterman. They had no children. Will died on December 21, 1960 in Jacksonville, Illinois at the age of 84. He was buried with his wife in Fernwood Cemetery, Roodhouse, Illinois on December 23, 1960.
