The funeral service of Barbara Smith was held Sunday afternoon from her late residence in Fontana, with services in Cornwall Brethren Church, in charge of Rev. Simon Bucher & Rev. Walter Hartman. The bearers were; Harvey Kline, Irwin Schwenk, George Bucher, Alfred Gingrich, Amos Bucher and Christian Brandt. Interment took place at the Cornwall Brethren Cemetery. The funeral was largely attended, being estimated that 900 viewed the remains at the house and at the church. One hundred and ninety eight machines were parked at the church. Smith, Sister Barbara, nee Kreider, died at her home at Fontana on Feb. 5, 1930, aged 56 years, following an illness of ten weeks. She was a faithful member of the Annville church. She is survived by her husband, Bro. Wilhelm Smith, two sons and five daughters, seven grandchildren, six brothers and five sisters. Funeral services at the Cornwall church by Brethren S. G.
