Mrs. Fannie Longenecker Allwein, 65, died at 12:45 a.m. today at her home, 625 N. Railroad St., Palmyra, following a heart attack a few hours earlier.
Mrs. Allwein was a native of North Cornwall Township and was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Smith) Kreider. She was a devout and active member of the Church of the Brethren of Palmyra, and the Willing Workers Sunday School class and the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Her first husband, Harry Longenecker, died in 1938.
She is survived by her second husband, Irwin A. Allwein; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Hartman, Mrs. Amos Brandt, both of Annville, and Mrs. Earl Brightbill, of Palmyra; four sons, Samuel Allwein, Annville; Frank Allwein, Palmyra; Harry b. Longenecker, Elizabethtown; and Walter Longenecker, of Annville.
Fifteen grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and one sister and brother also survive: Mrs. Moses Kreider, Lebanon R.D. 4 and Jonas Kreider, Lebanon R.D.5. [Lebanon Daily News -Friday, February 25, 1955]

Funeral on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from The Church of the Brethren, Palmyra. Interment at Spring Creek Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Friends may call Sunday evening 7 to 9 at the Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra.
