Bill is survived by his loving wife Irene, children: Joseph (Judy) Rimelspach of Columbus, Susan Rimelspach of Cincinnati, Mark (Sue) Rimelspach of Findlay, Mary (Michael) Smith of Toledo, Ann (Allan) Wise of Fremont and John Rimelspach of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Paul Rimelspach, Sara (John) Bartley, Anna (Xaume) Bueno, Dan (Mary) Rimelspach, Derek (Chrissy) Rimelspach, Meghan (Mike) Rimelspach, Drew (Hannah) Rimelspach, Tracey (Eric) Smith, Brian Smith, Carolynn (Nicholas) Oblizajek, Katie Wise, Molly (Dale) Freier, and Christine (Zak) Bowman; great-grandchildren: Penny, Alana, Whitney, Holden, Marnie, Addison, Lydia, Liam, Malachi, Grace, Coraline, Maple, Sophie and Alden.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Norbert Rimelspach, Robert Rimelspach, Mary Rimelspach, Sr. Francis Assisi, Rita Koch and Ruth Harrison.

Bill was a graduate of St. Ann Grade School and a 1947 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Fremont. Bill worked for Control Company of America for 41 years and was a part time farmer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Ann's Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Catholic Church Boosters.

Bill volunteered at the Memorial Hospital in Fremont and Hayes Presidential Center. He also volunteered his time in the Soup Kitchen, Our Lady of Pines Retreat Center and St. Bernadine Retirement Home. Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who cherished the time he spent with his family.

Bill will be remembered by his family and friends as an incredibly kind, generous and light-hearted man. Bill loved to golf, play cards and work in his garden - which included growing grapes to make his own wine. He was a master at puzzles, made the best sauerkraut balls, and hardly ever walked away from the euchre table a loser. Bill was funny. Bill was fearless. Bill was one of a kind.

Bill will be missed by all who knew him, especially his family. As Bill would say, "Love you much. Bye for now." And we do love him much, and have faith we will see him again.

Visitation for Bill will be on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 4-8 PM in the Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, Ohio 43420, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:30PM.
