GOOD THUNDER. - Services for John Weber, 84, of Good Thunder, who died Monday, May 11, 1987, at Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Boman Chapel, the Rev. Victor Kubik of World-Wide Church of God officiating. Burial will be in Decoria Cemetery of rural Good Thunder. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Boman Mortuary.
Mr. Weber was born Aug. 18, 1902, in Decoria Township, Blue Earth County, to Henry and Barbara (Kirchhofer) Weber. He married Laura Prenzlow on Nov. 26, 1932, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mapleton. He farmed his entire life, retiring eight years ago. He enjoyed working on farm machinery. He was a member of World-Wide Church of God. He is survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother, and three half-brothers.
